Mt. Carmel Girls’

Bishop Kirima of the Nyeri Archdiocese invited the Apostolic Carmel sisters to Kenya and the Archdiocese to accept and administer the school in 1992. The school was situated on 30 acres of arable land. Over the past quarter century the school developed, got modernized, landscaped and transformed to what it is today. The pioneering sisters worked at getting the water and electricity connection to this school. Spacious classrooms and laboratories were constructed to acccomodate the learners. Dormitories came up to suit the boarding facilities offered by the school. At present the school is well established and provides good education to girls.
